eMedNY Data Center News
This page provides up to date information regarding the eMedNY Data Center and how changes in the eMedNY Data Center will affect you.

The eMedNY Data Center will be moving to a new facility.

The magnitude of this move requires careful planning. To minimize the impact to the provider/user community the move will utilize a phased approach. Each phase will take place during the weekends/off-hours from mid-September through mid-November. The move to the new facility will be completed by the end of 2008.

The eMedNY Call Center will be open during all move events that may affect the eMedNY system. During these periods, you may call 800-343-9000 for questions and assistance for special problems.

The primary move of the eMedNY mainframe will occur Sunday morning November 16. This move will require a 4-hour outage where no access to the mainframe applications will be available. See below for details about all events associated with the Data Center move.

November 8-9 (midnight Saturday – noon Sunday)
Attention: Dirad Enteral prior approval users The Dirad system that assigns prior approvals will be down sometime during this time frame from 0-4 hours.

    November 15-16 (midnight Saturday – 4:00 a.m. Sunday)
    Attention: all users
All eMedNY systems will be unavailable during this 4-hour period while the mainframe processes are being moved to the new location.

Please submit your transactions before this time or retry after the system becomes available. The eMedNY Call Center will remain open and available to assist you during this time period. For assistance, call 800-343-9000.
