Frequently Asked Questions

Q:
820 or 835 - Why am I not receiving an 820 or 835 transaction in response to my 837?
A:

When submitting live or test claims you will receive either a paper remittance or an 820/835 remittance. Remittances are produced depending on the selections made in the enrollment documents on file with eMedNY Provider Enrollment. These selections are associated with your ETIN (Electronic Transmitter Identification Number).

Please contact eMedNY Provider Enrollment at 1-800-343-9000 for more information.
