What is the
BBS or Gateway? |
| A: |
The BBS
(Bulletin Board System, also known as the Gateway or the
Electronic Gateway) allows users to transfer files from
their computer to another computer (upload) or from
another computer to their computer (download). Each
batch file transmission sent to the eMedNY contractor
should be completed within two hours as an F-file must
be returned within two hours of the start of the
transmission. Any transmission exceeding two hours will
be disconnected. BBS is strictly a dial-up connection.
